NCS-Webshop at a glance
NCS-Webshop connects an online shop with SAP Business One. SAP stays leading for articles, stock, customers and prices; orders arise in the shop and are created in SAP, shipping status and tracking flow back.
What is this for?
- Provide articles, stock, customers and prices from SAP in the shop.
- Create orders from the shop as SAP sales orders.
- Report shipping status and tracking back to the shop.
- Use SAP standard fields only – no industry-specific tailoring.

How to set it up
- The solution has two halves: the SAP side in the NCSWebshop package, run by the NCS-Webservice, and the Shopify app in the shop.
- The direction is fixed: the NCS-Webservice at the customer always calls the app. The app never calls into the customer network – so only an outbound connection is needed, no inbound opening.
- The access – address of the app and the key – is kept in the interfaces of the NCS-AddOn; the key is stored encrypted.
- Which customers and articles are transferred is decided by settings – see which customers and articles.
- How far the implementation has come is described under current state.
