Current state

This page states openly how far NCS-Webshop has come. It deliberately describes nothing as finished that is not – a description that turns out wrong later would be worse than none.

What is this for?

  • Make transparent what has been decided.
  • Name what is still open.
  • Invite you to shape the scope.

Current state

How to set it up

  1. The scope is decided: a general shop connector on SAP standard fields, without industry-specific attributes.
  2. The direction is decided: the NCS-Webservice calls the app, never the other way round.
  3. The selection is decided: customer groups and item groups through settings; frozen customers never.
  4. The price determination is decided: through SAP, not rebuilt.
  5. The implementation is under way. The SAP-side standard functions are being written; the Shopify app exists and the interface description is a draft.
  6. Still open are, among other things, the hosting of the app and the route by which customer-specific prices reach the shop on each shop plan.
  7. If you run a Shopify shop next to SAP Business One, now is the right time to bring in your requirements – they can still shape the scope.
