Prices and currencies

The price a customer sees in the shop is not rebuilt: it comes from the price determination of SAP Business One – with price list, special prices, quantity breaks and whatever else is configured there.

What is this for?

  • Show customer-specific prices in the shop without maintaining them twice.
  • Use the price determination of SAP unchanged.
  • Define clearly how customers without a fixed currency are handled.

Prices and currencies

How to set it up

  1. The base price comes from the configured price list.
  2. The customer-specific price is determined through SAP’s price determination – per customer, article, quantity and date.
  3. In the shop those prices arrive differently depending on the shop plan: through catalogues and price lists per company, or through a price rule.

Worth knowing

A customer whose currency in SAP is set to "all currencies" is skipped. A price list in the shop carries exactly one currency; which one should apply to this customer could only be guessed. Better a gap that is noticed than a price that is wrong.
